Boulder, MT – March 6th, 2024 – Youth Dynamics, a premier provider of youth mental health services, is proud to announce the groundbreaking of a new therapeutic group home at its Boulder campus. This development marks a significant milestone in the organization’s commitment to providing exceptional care and support to young Montanans facing mental health challenges.
The new facility, expected to be a cornerstone in the treatment and care of youth, will feature 8 individual rooms, offering increased privacy and an enhanced quality of life for its residents. This design is a testament to Youth Dynamics’ dedication to creating a nurturing and healing environment where every child can feel safe, respected, and valued.
“Today’s groundbreaking is not just about laying the foundation for a new building; it’s about laying the groundwork for hope, healing, and brighter futures,” said Dennis Sulser, CEO of Youth Dynamics of Montana. “This new group home will enable us to better serve our youth, providing them with the privacy and the personalized care they deserve.”
Building on the momentum of their latest initiative, Youth Dynamics also announced a fundraising campaign to complete a second group home. Having raised $958,512 towards their $1,600,000 target for new construction—part of a broader second phase of their Reigniting Hope capital campaign, with an ambitious goal of $3,000,000.
The additional $1,400,000 in funds raised will be earmarked for campus improvements outside of the construction of a second home. Additions will include a full campus walking path expanding on the healing garden introduced during the initial phase one campaign efforts.
These state-of-the-art group homes are designed with the well-being of residents at the forefront, incorporating spaces for therapy, education, and recreation. The facilities are integral to Youth Dynamics’ holistic approach to mental health care, which combines clinical treatment with life skills development to ensure each young person can thrive, both within the home and in their communities.
Youth Dynamics has been at the forefront of youth mental health services in Montana for over 40 years, offering a broad spectrum of care, including therapeutic group homes, foster care, home support services, and outpatient therapy. This new development is a reflection of the organization’s ongoing commitment to expanding its services and reaching more young people in need.
Construction of the first group home is underway and is slated for completion in August of 2024. Youth Dynamics invites the community to follow the progress of this exciting project and to join in supporting the second group home to advance the mental health and well-being of Montana’s youth.
