Associate Clinical Director of Substance Abuse Services

Al joined Youth Dynamics in 2019 as Associate Clinical Director of Substance Abuse Services. He originally came to YDI to further utilize his strengths to help those struggling with mental health and addiction issues. 

Al is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He obtained a Master of Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Montana State University. Prior to working for Youth Dynamics, Al worked for the Mental Health Center in Billings and was self-employed.

Al reports that his greatest accomplishments are obtaining his dual licensure and knowing that he has helped to make a difference in people’s lives. He reports that is favorite quote by Viktor Frankl is, “When you find yourself in a situation you cannot change, you change yourself in that situation.”
