Parents at Youth Dynamics provide care to vulnerable children in their home for as little as two days per month as respite care providers, or up to 2 years or more as foster parents. They provide a safe and stable environment that lays the foundation for a child’s recovery from trauma.

 What are the benefits?

• Foster parents at Youth Dynamics have a large supportive community; we hold events and host support groups. It’s a great opportunity to make friends and meet other people in the community.
• Respite services provided by other foster parents are available to help foster parents practice self-care.
• A tax free stipend of approximately $865.00 per month per child placed in foster care or $37/day per child for respite.  The reimbursement helps to cover all of the needs that a child in care might have.
• You get to build a relationship with a child and watch them grow and recover from trauma.  Foster parents positively impact children’s lives, and influence the way they interact with their environment forever.
