Youth Dynamics provides a wide continuum of care including many options for treatment, ranging from mentoring to intensive level therapeutic group homes. A child may receive all services from Youth Dynamics, or may be served by several agencies. We want families to feel empowered, supported, and accepted when they work with Youth Dynamics. We strive to provide a warm, welcoming environment in all our offices and group homes!

Our Services
Most services can be delivered in a Youth Dynamics office, the youth’s home, school or community setting.
Caregiver Support & Education
Parenting is hard in general, and parenting a child with mental and behavioral health issues can be exhausting. At Youth Dynamics parents are not alone. Our care managers can meet with caregivers on a regular basis and listen to their concerns and struggles. Care managers can work with parents to trouble shoot difficult behaviors and help them to build skills to utilize while brainstorming new behavioral interventions. At the same time care managers can work with children to help them build coping skills to thrive in their home and community. Families also have the option to enroll in our Common Sense Parenting course and get extra support from a care manager in practicing their new parenting skills.

Youth Case Management: Service Coordination & Advocacy
It is not uncommon for parents and caregivers to feel stigmatized in the community and have trouble getting access to the services they need. We can work with a family to advocate for them in the community. A case manager is an advocate to guide parents or guardians in maneuvering through the mental health system and community helping them access the most appropriate support for their child and family.
Therapeutic Mentor Program (FSA Program)
Our therapeutic mentors work with youth behaviorally, helping them develop the skills to thrive in the community. Mentors work with youth on developing healthy coping skills, practicing effective social skills, learning constructive behaviors, and much more. This service is available to youth in the community, at school, and in the home environment.
Respite Care
Parenting a child with special needs is both rewarding and exhausting. It is important for parents and caregivers to be able to take a break for their own well-being. At Youth Dynamics, all of our parents that participate in our family support program are entitled to 48 hours of free respite every month. Youth Dynamics has a team of well-trained respite providers across the state that is ready to provide respite in their homes. Youth who participate in the respite program tend to really enjoy it as well, becoming close to the families that they do respite with every month.
Substance Abuse Treatment
Our substance abuse program is designed for youth who are struggling with drug or alcohol problems or co-occurring substance abuse and behavioral health issues. This program focuses on the family dynamics of addiction, as well as providing youth with practical tools so they can make strong, healthy decisions.
