YDI & YBGR: Key Facts for Our Community Partners

Youth Dynamics (YDI) and Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch (YBGR) are joining forces to enhance support for children and families across Montana.

As a combined entity, we’ll operate as Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, providing all the traditional supports you’re familiar with, plus new, more expansive offerings through an increased geographic footprint made possible by bringing our services and teams together.

Our unification marks a new chapter in our history and the therapeutic care we deliver. As a united team of caring people preparing youth for life, we’ll provide a full continuum of community-based services, in-school support, and residential therapeutic youth home and PRTF care, reaching families in every corner of Montana.

Our vision is to create a system that is efficient and responsive to you and your clients’ needs. From initial contact, you and those you serve will benefit from a network of support designed to reduce wait times for accessing services and smooth transitions between different levels of treatment.

Youth Dynamics and Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch are strengthening wraparound support for children and families. Together, we can provide more efficient, timely treatment—ensuring kids receive the right service at the right time and at the right level of care.

If you are the legal guardian to children currently enrolled in YDI services, we’ll ask you to sign new consent for care forms when Youth Dynamics begins to shift operations under Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch. Then, we’ll integrate their treatment information into YBGR’s medical record system.
